Lex Brodie's Fast Lube performs full synthetic oil changes at two Big Island locations in Kailua-Kona and Hilo. Full synthetic motor oil provides the highest level of engine protection available - it keeps pistons up to 10% cleaner than the toughest industry standard and cleans out up to 40% of engine sludge in the first oil change. Every full synthetic oil change includes up to 5 quarts of full synthetic motor oil, a new oil filter, chassis lubrication, belt and hose inspection, tire pressure check and adjustment, exterior light inspection, and a complete fluid top-off. Most services are completed in 15 minutes or less with no appointment required.

What is the difference between full synthetic and synthetic blend oil?
Full synthetic oil is entirely engineered for maximum performance, while synthetic blend is a mixture of synthetic and conventional oil. Full synthetic provides superior heat resistance, better cold-start protection, and longer intervals between changes. It costs more than synthetic blend but offers the highest level of engine protection available, which is why many manufacturers require it.
How often should I change full synthetic oil?
Full synthetic oil typically lasts 7,500 to 10,000 miles between changes, though your vehicle manufacturer's recommended interval is what you should follow.
