Lex Brodie's Fast Lube offers high mileage oil changes at two Big Island locations in Kailua-Kona and Hilo. High mileage motor oil is designed for vehicles with 75,000 miles or more and includes seal conditioning agents that help minimize oil leaks - a common issue in higher-mileage engines. It cleans out up to 40% of engine sludge in the first oil change. Every high mileage oil change includes up to 5 quarts of high mileage motor oil, a new oil filter, chassis lubrication, belt and hose inspection, tire pressure check and adjustment, exterior light inspection, and a complete fluid top-off. Most services are completed in 15 minutes or less with no appointment required.

Consider switching to high mileage oil when your vehicle reaches 75,000 miles. Can I switch back to regular oil after using high mileage oil?
Yes. You can switch between oil types without damaging your engine. However, if your vehicle benefits from high mileage oil's seal conditioning agents, switching back to conventional oil means you lose that protection.
